These are some of my favorite looks.

1-3 Alexander Wang
4 - Helmut Lang
5 - Yohji Yamamoto

These are some of my favorite looks that I have seen so far.  Overall, it seems like everyone is into louder prints, which is probably why I'm choosing looks that that don't have prints at all.  But from the above, I love that these outfits have so much texture and the ability to layer in amazing ways.

I'm so captivated by those Alexander Wang pumps in pic 3.  The peek of skin is so sexy, and I'm hoping that they're comfortable..but they probably won't be :D

I'd have to say out of all of these, my favorite look is the Yohji look (#5).  It's such a great street look that can look proper and also very casual.  I'm down with this look from head to toe.

What have you guys been eyeing at this fashion week?

This is Tod's.

I don't know why, but I like these!  I'm so in love with chelsea boots; I have 2 Alexander Wang Anouck boots, and I'm always scouring for another unique twist on the chelsea.  These Tod's platform chelseas are pretty cute.  They give you height while also keeping the sleek silhouette of the chelsea.

What do you guys think?  I want one, just don't know where to get one.  They're all sold out on MyTheresa here.

This is the jacket

This jacket is fabulous.  It's from Alexander Wang's 2013 spring collection.  There's something awesome about oversized bomber jackets right now.  I love the sheen to the fabric and the chunky cut to the hood is genius.  I'm down with this whole outfit, Alexander Wang.

What does everyone think about the new line?

This is vest season.

Summer is coming so incredibly soon.  It's time to take off those jackets and put on those vests.  I bought this Rick Owens vest for that reason.  I was so excited that I had to take some pics right after taking it out of the box, still with tags and everything HAHAH!

I love this vest.  It has this great diagonal button closure that wraps around me like a snake.  So I can wear it like a cloak or wear it like a boa constrictor.  I can put it over any regular t shirt or dress that I have, and it all looks fantastique!

This is a tailcoat!

Holy Crap!  I just bought this, and it's a major major investment piece for me!  I have been eyeing this piece for a while, and it wasn't until we got a cold spell in LA that I decided to commit to buying this. I found it on sale, and I'm excited to finally receive it.  It looks sooooo warm, and has a removable mink collar for extra warm.  I love this twist on the moto jacket...so unique, and I like that there's extra room in the sleeve, so I can comfortably fit a sweater underneath if I'm in need of extra extra warmth!

Yay!!!

This is Jacquelyn.

Messing around with my new Yashica T4 camera.  The focus is a little tricky :(  but I had fun getting a little gangsta in these photos.  These Alexander Wang Jacquelyn boots are probably the tallest boots I have.  The platform is intense, and yes looks like you'll fall in an instant, but these boots are probably the most comfy heels (of this height) that I have.  I mean yes, if you bump me at the hip, I may topple over...but these boots are great for trekking around the city and flat surfaces.

This is OAK.

Oak NYC (one of my favorite stores) is having their 304050 sale.  One of my favorite times of the year since I very well could buy everything in this store if I could.  The buyers of this showroom have the most amazing sense of style and fashion...everything from Rick Owens to Alexander Wang to Kai-Aakmann  More importantly, the OAK brand is quite incredible as well.  I have a number of their plain tees, and they're the softest things I have ever worn...quite possibly the most comfortable tees ever (and I'm comparing to Alexander Wang and Helmut Lang).

They're also known for their really skinny black jeans...which I have yet to try.  They're so skinny that they encourage you to size up...plus they're unisex.  How cool is that!

Most of their stuff are  of the black, white, neutral variety.  That's my color palette.  This is my number one store. Their site is always up my tabs, and I'm always visiting here when I'm in NYC.  I hope you enjoy!!!

                                                                    Love ^_^ Love

This is Alexander Wang.

These are my favorite looks from Alexander Wang's Pre-Fall 2012 Collection.  I love the mix of textures and fabrics.  Like Helmut Lang's pre-fall '12 collection, I see they have a cut-out style going with some of their pieces.  Could that be the new trend?? Cut-outs?!  To be honest, I haven't felt comfortable with huge sheer pieces on your garment...like sheer sleeves on a blazer or a sheer back on a top, but I really like that there are patterns to the sheerness and that the cut-outs have really complicated geometric designs.  That being said, layering intricate cut-out/semi sheer pieces over tanks and under opaque and blocky vests seem like a good way to move foward to me!!!

I really love that very last look.  I would wear that exact same outfit in a FLASH!  yay 2012!

This is Chelsea.

Happy New Year everyone!  I wanted to start my first year post with a new excitement for me.  As you know, I'm a big fan of the Alexander Wang's Anouck beatle boot.  I love the classic simplicity paired with that shiny cut-out accent heel.  Such an excellent combo.

I was browsing on Saks's website and saw the new update for it.  What do you think?  I like the mix of textures, and I really do appreciate that they kept the silhouette the same.  Such eye candy indeed.

It's almost Christmas, and it's getting quite cold outside (even in Los Angeles).  So, I thought that I would post a little Christmas wishlist of functional and cute items that can be worn together in numerous different outfits combinations.

Yes, there's a lot of blacks and grays, but I've included little pops of color to undrab any outfit.  This winter,  I find myself wearing so much black and neutral colors, but have been wearing really bold colored scarves or undershirts (layering!!) to add a little zest of color to my outfits.  Neon yellow is very fun.  Red is classic.  And my new favorite is mint.  Wearing a mint scarf would be like wearing a fun christmas candy kingdom on your neck without getting too bogged down in more traditional christmas red and green.

It's time to layer!  It's time to put as many clothes on yourself without looking like a blocky marshmallow.  All of this just to stay warm.  Do it.  EEeeeeee!!!

                                                                      peace and joy!

This is street stomping.

Street Stompers

Alexander Wang wedge ankle booties
$417 - lagarconne.com

When you walk around the city, you need a perfect pair of boots.   Yes, these boots are from seasons past, but they're such street treasures.  Alexander Wang's twist on the beatle boot is so modern and classy, and the little metal edge on the heel is to die for.  Alexander McQueen's skeleton bootie is also  a cute little thing.  It's a black metal pixie boot brought to life!  I imagine it would be amazing paired with some slim and slick black leggings and a slouchy top.

If you have even one of these, you are one lucky ducky.  Stomp the pavement with them, but not too hard... make them last forever!!

I'm looking for a really nice pair of black skinny jeans.  I've always been so curious about ksubi.  Has anyone ever tried them?  I think might take a leap of faith since I've heard such good things.  Just don't want them to stretch out too much that they become baggy boyfriend jeans...BLECH.

What do you think of that Sandro moto leather jacket??  I really love the motocross padding on the sleeves.  Too bad it's way above my price range.  Booooooo.

This past weekend...aiaiaiaia.  I spent so much money thanks to Black Friday sales.  I'll post pics when I get everything in the mail. AIAIAiiii!!
